Open Positions:

Control Systems and Simulation Engineer: The candidate should have a Master’s or PhD in control systems with strong programming skills in Matlab, Simulink and C/C++. Individuals with experience in flight control systems are preferred. This position involves design and analysis of real-time control systems on embedded hardware platforms for flight control.

Python Programmer: The candidate should be an experienced Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Python. Experience in developing software for safety critical applications preferred. This is a full-time position in South Burlington, Vermont (remote location not available for this position). Beta Technologies is looking for a Python Wizard to help develop automated testing and data visualization tools to build electric powered vertical take-off and landing aircraft (eVTOL). 

Mechanical Engineer: The candidate should have a Mechanical Engineering Degree with several years of experience in Python. Prior certification experience preferred. Looking for the right candidate that can use mechanical knowledge with their Python experience to support in the certification process.

Software Engineer: The candidate should be an experienced Software Engineer that has prior certification experience in DO-178. Individual should have 5 or more years of experience in Software and DO-178. The candidate would work with a growing team to support certification and other applicable domains.

Software and Firmware Engineer: The candidate should be a Software and Firmware Engineer that has prior certification experience in DO-178 and DO-254. Individual should have 5+ years of experience in similar role. Beta is eager to find the ideal candidate that can support DO-178 and DO-254 certification that fits the fast paced environment.

Reliability Engineer: The candidate should have 5+ years in aerospace systems and box level reliability calculations and tool sets. Candidates should be familiar with ARP4754A, ARP4761, Mil-HDBK-217.

Test Engineer: The candidate should have 5+ years experience in aerospace qualified test set development and qualification per DO-330. Candidate should flexible and able to support research and develop test development as well as formal requirement driven certification level test set development from TQL-5 up to TQL-1.
