BETA is seeking an IT guru who will help ensure our team members are staying as efficient as possible. This is an ideal position for someone who has excellent service and technical skills, and is ready to work in a fast paced environment, where everyday will be a little different.
Initial application troubleshooting and determination of appropriate escalation path
Identifies and resolves desktop/laptop application problems
Responsible for incidents escalated from first line of support
Manage, maintain, monitor and support the application infrastructure environment for multiple facility locations
Install, configure and support software required to operate assigned technology
Resolve and work proactively on virus/malware issues and initiatives
Assists in new system deployments/loading appropriate software as needed
Write support documentation for internal use
Responds to requests for assistance from employees who are experiencing problems with supported applications
Documents results of problem resolution session using the internal ticketing and remote access system
Participates in deployment projects
Identify and resolve common client desktop/laptop issues to help reduce the number of redundant help desk calls concerning the same issue.
High School Diploma or equivalent (Required) - Bachelor’s degree preferred
3+ years experience in a technical support environment preferred
Basic experience using an IT Service Management system
CompTIA A+, HDI, Microsoft MCSA or related technical certification, preferred
Ability to work in a service-oriented team environment with strong organization, analytical, communication, and time management skills
Proven Experience with (Most all, but not limited to) G-Suite, G-Drive, Zoom, Google Meet, Email Anti-Spam/Hygiene Tools, Android/iPad/iPhone Device Mgmt, Multi-Function Printers/Scanners, Multi-Factor Authentication Apps, etc.
Experiences with Large Corporate ERP Systems would be very beneficial.
Ability to demonstrate independent thinking and judgement with minimal oversight
JIRA/Confluence administration support experience
