We are looking for a Manufacturing Data/Automation Engineer to join our growing team.   

How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:

  • Support Manufacturing in the selection of related hardware and equipment.
  • Design data structures for MES and automation applications.
  • Experience designing efficient automated work center operations.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to determine needs, requirements, and expectations.
  • High energy, self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for analysis.
  • Possess the ability to handle a dynamic workload with minimum supervision.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and future development.
  • Minimum Qualifications we are seeking:

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, machine/tool integration, and or automation design
  • Experience with PLC / SCADA systems (Rockwell Factory Talk), Ladder-logic
  • Experience using Industrial Communication Protocols (Ethernet/IP, OPC, Kepware, etc.)
  • Good team communication, and leadership skills
  • Above and Beyond Qualifications that will distinguish you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field
  • Experience working with Cloud Providers specifically AWS
  • HMI factory floor interface experience (FactoryTalk View SE and/or Ignition).
  • Experience using Node-Red
  • Programming knowledge in Python and/or Javascript/Typescript 
  • Experience with RESTful Web APIs
  • Experience in designing, testing, and implementing networked systems for industrial automation.
  • Network, database, SCADA remote troubleshooting.
  • Experience in Aerospace/Defense
  • Experience in a regulated industry
