BETA Technologies is seeking a Material Planner to help define the future of flight. You will work with a highly motivated, cross-functional team to bring a radical aircraft to production. Bringing innovation to planning, you will be a critical part of BETA realizing its aggressive manufacturing goals while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the industry. This means stepping in and providing an immediate positive impact to BETA in our march to full production.

How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:

  • Analyze large data sets to influence material stocking and staging strategies
  • Work closely with Procurement, Logistics, and Production Planning in defining material flows
  • Maintain world-class production standards of quality and safety
  • Coordinate and prioritize work in an extremely dynamic environment
  • Understand and execute material requirements planning (MRP) and other advanced material planning needs
  • Create and implement processes to continually improve our ERP system
  • Work alongside our Purchasing team and Inventory Management team to resolve any critical part shortages that will jeopardize the production schedule
  • Help quantify manpower, process needs and materials required to meet production rate increases
  • Ensure production is able to run efficiently through the development and implementation of system setting implementations and enhancements.
  • Minimum Qualifications we are seeking:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain, or the equivalent in work experience.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic work environment, and a passion to perform under pressure
  • 5+ years of direct experience in planning within a complex manufacturing environment
  • Extremely strong communication skills
  • Strong background in problem-solving and leadership
  • Skilled in using Excel and a Business Intelligence platform
  • Experience with an ERP system; Epicor, SAP, Plex, or Oracle will prepare for success.
  • Exposure to rapid manufacturing growth and preferably startup experience
  • Strong ability to perform both as a part of a team and to perform as an individual

  • Above and Beyond Qualifications that will distinguish you:

  • Previous experience as a Buyer, Manufacturing Engineer, and/or Manufacturing Technician
  • Direct experience in Aerospace
