Cyber Security Analyst Lead - IT

Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and responding to active threats and alerts occurring on our networks.  Security Analysts will leverage various industry-leading tools and methodologies to rapidly investigate potential threats, building new professional skills and capabilities along the way, all the while providing superior service to our organization. 
The right candidate will have a hands-on role in developing, implementing, testing, and auditing all aspects of BETA Security initiatives.  

How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:

  • Leverage various security tools to perform monitoring, and analysis of security events and data to identify security risks and threats on BETA networks.
  • Utilize cyber security hunting techniques to discover vulnerabilities, security weaknesses, or threats.
  • Work with SIEM solutions such as Splunk, to perform investigation and triage of incidents.
  • Work with your team and the broader community to stay up to date on the latest threats and security trends to improve the effectiveness of security programs for our organization.
  • Creating, following, and refining all security-related processes and procedures.
  • Develop detailed documentation on all aspects of information security.
  • Conduct risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with NIST 800-171 and CMMC certification.

  • Minimum Qualifications we are seeking (your Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities):

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of industry experience
  • Security+/CISSP preferred
  • Hands-on experience working with enterprise SIEM solutions, Splunk preferred.
  • Working knowledge of networking principles, application protocols, and common operating systems.
  • Knowledge of Azure, AWS, and Google Workspace with respect to information security
  • In-depth understanding of NIST 800-171
