The paralegal will provide a range of assistance and administration to support business and legal matters at Beta Technologies. To be successful in this role, the paralegal will be able to prioritize projects and thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment.
Prepare and review legal documents including employee contracts, confidentiality agreements, stock certificates, shareholder agreements, financial reports, articles, lease agreements, non disclosure agreements
Monitor and ensure compliance with state, local and federal regulations
Support preparation and filing of documentation such as state tax registrations and IRS forms
Draft shareholder consents and proxies, corporate resolutions and related documents
Conduct legal research, as needed
Bachelor's degree, Associates degree or formal certificate in paralegal studies preferred
Demonstrated experience in a legal or corporate setting
Knowledge of legal terminology and communication, principles and practices
Knowledge of local, state and federal laws and regulations
Ability to work in a service-oriented team environment with strong organization, analytical, communication, and time management skills
Ability to demonstrate independent thinking and judgement with minimal oversight
Familiarity with Google’s suite of applications, Slack, and Zoom
