Final Assembly Line Design - Manufacturing Engineering

BETA needs someone who has experience in part 23 or 25 aircraft final assembly line design and air structure design for manufacturing. Your work will be to lead the design and build of tooling, fixtures, jigs and automation for the components of BETA’s Alia aircraft Final Assembly Line. You will work with internal design and manufacturing teams as well as our vendors and contractors to bring Alia Final Assembly to life.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manufacturing process creative creation
Fluent in CAD with experience in Catia
Rapidly and creatively concept, design, implement and iterate production tooling and techniques
Inform design teams on product iteration for manufacturability (DFM)
Select, collaborate and act as the primary point of contact with external vendors inside and outside the aerospace industry
Author and track vendor requirements and specifications
