The BETA High School Job Shadow Experience has been re-envisioned for Summer 2023 in order to offer a more tailored experience in the exciting STEM-focused career disciplines at BETA Technologies. We will be accepting 12-16 high school students for 4 immersion days this summer. Students will explore careers, select interests, shadow, and present back to the Team during a culminating event at the end of the program. Locations will span three separate locations in South Burlington, VT and Williston, VT. Students participating will see and select from the following disciplines for further exploration: Fabrication, Flight Simulation, 3-D Printing, Fleet Maintenance, Carpentry, Charge, Composites, Subscale, Motors, and Electronics.
Ideal candidates display a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and lots of enthusiasm and curiosity!
Applicants will be required to submit a resume and cover letter, and upon receipt, they will be invited to a Video Interview
IMPORTANT DATES:
- Applications will be open until MARCH 31, 2023: If chosen among initial candidates, applicants will be invited to a Virtual Interview with a BETA Team Member.
- Interviews will be conducted between MAY 1, 2023 - MAY 19, 2023.
- Selected students will be notified by MAY 26, 2023.
- Theprogram will run on the following Wednesdays this summer: JULY 12, JULY 19, JULY 26, and AUG 2, 2023.
