As a Charging System Engineer for the Charging team, you will work with the team to evaluate systems for use with charging electric aircraft. You will also participate in industry working groups on proposed, new charging standards for use with electric aircraft. In this fast-paced culture, on any given day you will perform trade studies, derive requirements, and support the installation of new charging systems on the BETA charging network.
The Ideal candidate will present the following qualifications (knowledge, skills, experience):
Knowledge of existing DC Fast Charger system architectures.
Knowledge of existing protocols (CCS, Chademo, MCS, etc..).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with a cross functional team and analyze holistic solutions from the charger to the aircraft.
Self-motivated, team player.
BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related degree from an accredited University. MS Preferred.
Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience, with a proven track record, developing and deploying Level 3 electric vehicle supply equipment.
Experience with OCPP
Knowledge of EVSE installation requirements
Experience with Google G -Suite and Slack
