Electrical Engineer - Scale Model

As an Electrical Engineer, you will use your core technical competencies to design a production worthy, certifiable, Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS). Specifically, this position designs and implements propulsion and control systems. In addition, Electrical Engineers will generate electrical schematics and drawings for components and systems for existing prototypes and new designs, lead standardization of electrical components, circuitry, and develop documentation. As part of a small team, you will solve complex problems with little direction and maximum autonomy to deliver on full lifecycle electronic design from initial concept through to production ramp.


  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related degree from an accredited University.
  • Working knowledge of testing processes, equipment such as a dynamometer, sound meters, strip chart recorders, multimeters, oscilloscope, and fatigue analysis equipment and test techniques related to electrical systems
  • Capable of simplifying a complex problem and provide an initial analysis to scope critical constraints and feature sizing
  • Experience with full lifecycle electrical engineering: concept, simulation, design, bring-up, validation.
  • Demonstrated ability to prototype quickly and effectively, using iterative cycles to down-select multiple concepts down to one in 1-2 weeks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Nice to Have

  • Experience in one or more of the industry-accepted EE design CAD programs
  • Experience in the aviation, robotics, automotive or medical device/equipment industries
  • Experience with programming languages C++, Python or Firmware and embedded code
  • Experience with Google G -Suite and Slack
